Town of River Bend Government 

The Town of River Bend operates under a Council-Manager form of government. Since its incorporation on January 14, 1981 until February 17, 2002 the Town operated with a Mayor-Council form of government.

Residents of River Bend are in the River Bend Precinct, 3rd District of the State Assembly, and the 3rd Congressional District.

Serves as official head of Town for purpose of serving civil process and receiving all Town correspondence. Signs official documents approved by Council. Liaison with municipal, county, state governments & private sector.

Presides over Town meetings.

Oversight on streets, drainage & other public works projects including storm water drainage.
